TOP TEN / / ROCKS / / AUDIENCE

I think i'll be correct in assuming that the most appropriate audience for this subject matter (from my choices) would be the BBC because of it's nature to educate and inform.  The whole point of the BBC is that taxpayers are paying for it to exist, so they therefore have to produce programmes that contribute to society in some way or another.






The official aims of the BBC are:

Their mission:
To enrich people's lives with programmes and services that inform, educate and entertain.

To be the most creative organisation in the world.

Their Values:
  • Trust is the foundation of the BBC: we are independent, impartial and honest.
  • Audiences are at the heart of everything we do.
  • We take pride in delivering quality and value for money.
  • Creativity is the lifeblood of our organisation.
  • We respect each other and celebrate our diversity so that everyone can give their best.
  • We are one BBC: great things happen when we work together.

So, it makes sense for a show where the tone is more serious and informed/ informative to be distributed through the BBC.  From this, I need to start looking at how existing idents have been designed.  What format they take / / What colour schemes they use / / If they focus more on image than type / / How excitement and interest are generated / .
